What is the Kern WTB-N Stainless Steel Bench Scale?

The WTB-N Stainless Steel Bench Scale is an IP65 rated washdown bench scale suitable for the ever-increasing hygienic requirements in the food industry. The washdown design combined with the stainless steel weighing pan makes for easy cleaning and wiping after use.

The WTB-N Stainless Steel Bench Scale features two displays, front and rear, which are able to give steady weight values within 2 seconds. WTB-N also has an innovative weighing with tolerance range (Checkweighing), with a colour changing display that changes depending on the weight (too light/ok/too heavy). This makes portioning, dosing and grading tasks simple and efficient.

A compact, flat construction makes the WTB-N Stainless Steel Scale practical for small spaces, whilst recessed grips on the underside and the option of battery operation makes the weighing scale highly portable and suitable for use in several locations. A protective working cover is also included with delivery.

What does the IP65 rating mean on the Kern WTB-N Stainless Steel Bench Scale?

An IP rated weighing scale means that it has some level of protection from dirt, dust and liquid ingress. The 6 in IP65 indicates that the WTB-N Stainless Steel Bench Scale has full protection from dirt, dust and physical particles from entering the internal components, whilst the 5 shows that the WTB-N has limited protection from jets of water.
