Polaris Precision Balances are the latest new product from UK scale and balance manufacturer Adam Equipment. All models feature a large, bright weight display, LED-lit weighing chamber, and multiple outputs - including RJ45 ethernet - allowing you to share and record GLP-compliant weight results easily.

Polaris precision balances are designed for professional labs, and are perfect for sample preparation, quality control, density determination and more.

An in-use cover, as well as a weigh-below hook (for below-balance suspended weighing) are supplied with all Polaris lab balances.

All models are covered by Adam's 5-year manufacturer's warranty.

What is automatic internal calibration?

All Polaris precision balance models with an 'i' suffix on the model number feature automatic internal calibration. These allows users to set a regular time and day when the balance will automatically check calibration, and automatically recalibrate itself if required. That means there's no need for manual calibration checks using calibration weights.

What are the key features of Polaris precision balances?

When it comes to Adam's Polaris lab balances, the emphasis is on clarity. Thanks to the 7.4" LCD display, weight readings and application status is all clear and at-a-glance. Plus, the balance's many functions are easy to access and use. As well as simple lab weighing, these precision balances can be used for checkweighing (the colour-changing backlight in checkweighing mode makes this process even easier), parts counting and check counting.

Plus, because the weighing chamber features LED lighting inside, samples on the weighing pan can be seen clearly.

Are Polaris lab balances GLP-compliant?

Yes, Polaris models are GLP-compliant, providing weighing results that are both compliant with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). These results can either by printed, by connecting your Polaris to an Adam ATP2 Thermal Printer, or by using one of its many outputs - USB, RJ45 Ethernet, Bluetooth an d RS-232.
