What is the Adam PT [GK-S] Platform Scale?

The Adam PT [GK-S] is a professional, heavy duty platform scale with an intuitive, easy to operate indicator. The platform is mild steel, reinforced for extra strength and rigidity, with a tough durbar surface. The GK-S indicator that's supplied has a simple five-button layout - this means it's easy to use for simple, straightforward bulk weighing applications. The large, bright weight display is easy to read, even from a distance, with 40mm-high digits. In checkweighing mode, the large, bright display changes colour - if the item is too heavy, the display will glow red; if it is too light, it will glow amber; if it is within the tolerances you have set, the display will glow green. Unlike many other platform scales the PT series is designed and manufactured from thick 8mm channel tube and has full welded joins. Other, lesser quality platform scales are built to a price and therefore will not last as long in a rigorous warehouse environment.

The PT features a large, steel base with a chequered plate surface and X frame reinforcement beneath the platform. This makes it suitable for weighing very bulky items that can be loaded onto the scale using a fork truck. Platform scales are particularly useful for weighing palletised goods, due to their size and weighing capacity options.

Optional ramps can facilitate loading and unloading heavy objects, for example, with a pallet truck.
