Inscale are fully committed to sustainability and continually take measures to reduce the overall carbon footprint our products and packaging have on the environment. The following sustainability steps outlined here apply to Inscale manufactured products only although, embody our company ethos as a whole.
We always aim to recycle, reduce and reuse packing materials wherever we can, and are greatly reducing polystyrene product packaging, including Styrofoam where we can. Around 95% of product cartons are made from recyclable materials and boxes are re-purposed whenever possible. We often use egg-carton or pulp packaging that is formed from recycled paper, cardboard and natural organic fibres; it is our intention to continue using these materials where possible.
Wherever possible we recycle waste materials used in the production and manufacturing process of Inscale brand scales. We also recycle cardboard packaging, toner cartridges and IT equipment.
All of our product manuals are available for download on our website, significantly reducing the amount of paper used when printing documentation. We are always working to simplify and reduce the size of user manuals to save on printing.
