- Class III approved scales
- Class III approved scales are the highest classification for a medical device and are considered to have high risk to the user or patient. This typically includes life support equipment, implants and health monitoring devices. Certain weighing scales and balances will have Class III approvals for use in medical diagnostics or when producing medications and pharmaceuticals.
