Pallet Truck Scales for Commercial Warehouse Use

A pallet truck scale, also known as a pallet jack or forklift scale, is an industrial tool used to lift, move and weigh pallets of goods simultaneously. The addition of a tough digital weighing scale to the pallet truck allows pallets of goods to be weighed as they are moved, or even loaded onto a trailer to ensure distribution lorries and other transport vessels are not overloaded prior to dispatch.

Pallet truck scales are used for speeding up the manufacturing, packaging and distribution processes, and are ideal weighing machines for busy warehouses and factory environments where space is minimal. Pallet truck scales are built-to-last and provide even weight distribution. It is common to store multiple pallets on racks, therefore it is essential that each pallet is not overstocked in order to prevent accidents or risk damaging your machinery. By using a pallet truck scale, it is possible to weigh individual or stacked pallets in line with SWL (safe working load) specification notices.

Manufactured by Adam Equipment, The PTS pallet truck scale range features a 2000kg weight capacity and is built from heavy-duty gauge steel. This scale comes complete with checkweighing, parts counting and percentage weighing applications that allow you to accurately check the weight of boxes, containers and palleted goods before distribution or storage. A sealed load cell and enclosed channels prevent any rubbish or interference in weighing, which differs from others on the market. As a result, the PTS is an ideal industrial scale for warehouse applications.

Pallet Truck Scales Help

Q: What is the difference between a pallet truck scale and other types of pallet scales?

A: Standard pallet scales are typically large industrial platforms with high weight capacities used to weigh palleted goods on a warehouse floor. Pallet truck scales are used to streamline warehouse operations by combining a mobile forklift with a heavy-duty digital scale, allowing operators to move pallet goods around without the need for difficult lifting arangements.

In addition, pallet truck scales are designed specifically for handling pallets with the greatest convenience possible. Adam's PTS pallet truck scale comes complete with a zero-radius pivoting handle which allows movement in tight spots along with forked beams that can easily slip in between pallets for added stability and security when on the move. The PTS also makes use of polyurethane wheels which prevent the marking of floors during the movement of heavy loads.
