The Kern FOB-LM is a trade approved waterproof scale with an impressive IP67 rating and slick, stainless steel design. There is also increased protection against humidity by means of waterproof silicone sealing of the load cell, electronics and soldering joints.

How to use the checkweighing feature on the Kern FOB-LM Trade Approved Waterproof Scale

Begin by turning the Kern FOB-LM on, and hold the ‘Hold/Tol’ button for 3 seconds to enter the chechweighing mode. Next, set your low value using the ‘Tare’ button to change digits and the ‘Unit’ key to select the next digit, pressing and holding the ‘Hold’ key to finish. The upper value will now appear – repeat the process and set you high limit, pressing and holding ‘Hold key to finish.

You are now ready to begin checkweighing. The display will illuminate green and signal 2 short beeps if your subject is below the weight parameter, illuminate red with one perpetual tone if it is too high, and show no colour and no beeps if subject in with weight parameters.

Simply press and hold ‘Hold’ key for 3 seconds to exit checkweighing mode and return to normal weighing.
