A&D GH Series Trade Certified Analytical Balances
Starting From: £1,571.00

One of A&D's best analytical balances for high precision weighing and testing applications. UK trade certified model.

A&D GH trade certified analytical balances are designed for carrying out complex weighing experiments in medical, food and science laboratories.

GH balances come complete with Automatic Self Calibration that automatically calibrates the balance when changes in ambient temperature are detected. Counting and percentage modes allow lab professionals to accurately monitor chemicals and solutions used to manufacture medicines and pharmaceuticals. A standard underhook is ideal for density determination and weighing magnetic substances.

Multiple weighing units can be configured aside from standard gram and milligram units including, Carats (ct), Troy Ounces (ozt), Mommes (mom) and Taels (TL). The balance's data memory function allows up to 200 sets of data stored, whilst a bi-directional RS-232C communication connects to a PC, printer or other peripheral devices.

GH trade approved balances are perfect for manufacturing supplements and pharmaceuticals that are to be bought and sold by weight.

What do the 100g x 1mg type numbers mean?

When we show pairs of numbers such as 100g X 1mg or 12kg x 0.1g we are using an industry-wide shorthand which represents: capacity x readability. The 'x' does not mean multiply but could be read as 'with'.

Capacity is the maximum mass that can be measured on that scale or balance.

Readability is the smallest difference that the scale or balance can weigh to and display. Readability can be also be referred to as graduations, precision and resolution.
